From Hawley: Follow 590
East approximately 15 miles to the stop sign at the “T” in
Rowland (when you come to a T with a stop sign 2 miles past Woodloch
Springs, turn right and this will take you past The Cuckoo's Nest down
to the Rowland T at the Lackawaxen River -– you will be facing the
Lackawaxen River) Turn Left, and following 590, go over the Lackawaxen
Bridge. Immediately after the bridge, turn left onto Scenic Drive.
Follow this road past the Zane Gray Museum and the Roebling Bridge.
The post office and Honesdale National Bank will be on your left. We
are the next building on your left.
Alternate from Hawley:
Follow 590 East to the fork 3 miles outside Hawley, keep
right. This is the “tow path.” Follow along the Lackawaxen River
approximately 12 miles into Lackawaxen picking up with instructions
beginning at Lackawaxen Bridge above.
From Honesdale: Take
Route 6 into Hawley. Follow directions from Hawley, above. (Note: You
can take Long Ridge Road and connect to 590 from Honesdale.)
Alternate from Honesdale:
Take Route 652 to Narrowsburg. Cross the bridge into New York and
follow signs for 97 South. Take 97 South about 10-12 miles to the
Roebling Bridge. Turn right and go over the Roebling Bridge into
Pennsylvania. At the stop sign, turn left. The inn will be on your
left, just past the post office and the bank.
From Lake Wallenpaupack
(Rt. 507): Take Route 6 East toward Milford. Go approximately 6
miles and look for signs for Route 434/590. Mr. B's Gas Station will
be on your left. Turn left onto Route 434. Follow that about 2 miles,
then go straight ahead on Route 590. Drive approximately 4 miles. At
the bottom of the hill, turn right onto Scenic Drive. Go over the
railroad tracks, and The Inn at Lackawaxen will be on your right.
From Lord's Valley Exit
on 84: Go to the stop sign and turn onto 739 West. Go
approximately 1 mile to the first intersection. 84 Lumber will be on
your left. Turn right onto Well Rd. Follow this road to the stop sign
(Route 6). Turn right almost immediately onto 434/590, and follow
directions from Lake Wallenpaupack above.
From Scranton: Take
84 East to the Lord's Valley exit. Follow directions above.
From Narrowsburg:
Take 97 South to the Roebling Bridge. Go over the Roebling Bridge into
PA Turn left at the stop sign. The inn will be on your left, past the
post office and the bank.
From New Jersey:
Interstate 80 West to 15 North/West, which turns into Route 206,
continue on Route 206 across the Delaware River into Pennsylvania.
Bear right after the bridge and continue on Rt. 6 through Milford
approximately 20 miles to Rt. 434. Turn right – continue for
approximately 2 miles to a fork in the road. Keep left, this is Rt.
590 West. Continue approximately 4 miles to the town of Lackawaxen. At
bottom of the hill, veer right onto Scenic Drive. The inn is on your
right, just before the bank, post office and the Roebling Bridge.
From Philadelpia:
Route 9 North to Scranton. Take 84 East to Lord’s Valley, Exit 34 (old
exit 9). Go left at end of exit ramp on to Route 739. Take first right
(84 Lumber will be on your left); follow this road to Route 6. Turn
left onto Well Road to the stop sign and immediately turn right on to
Route 434. Follow directions from New Jersey above.
From Connecticut:
Interstate 84 to Exit 1 (Port Jervis). Take Rt. 6W for 2 miles through
Port Jervis to Rt. 97N. Continue on Rt. 97 for approximately 30 miles
to the Roebling Bridge, just past Minisink, on your left. Look for a
sign for the Roebling Bridge. Turn left over the bridge, immediately
turn left onto Scenic Drive. The inn will be on your left, past the
post office and bank.
From New York City:
NYS Thruway to Exit 16 (Harriman) to Route 17 West to Exit 121 West to
route 84 West to Exit 1 (Port Jervis) to Route 97 North. Follow
directions “from Connecticut” above.
From Binghamton:
Route 17E to Exit 87 (Hancock) to Route 97S - continue on Route 97
South to the Roebling Bridge (on your right). Turn right over the
bridge, turn left onto Scenic Drive and The Inn at Lackawaxen will be
on your left just past post office and bank. |
